    We have our own in house interior designer to help with fabric and model selections and we can use our vast fabric library to really create a unique piece of furniture for you.

    Duresta has been making high quality upholstery since 1938 . Since then Duresta has become the brand of choice for high end, luxurious designs , creating modern classics and celebrating heritage English furniture.

    Long renowned for the skill of its people in all aspects of furniture making , from traditional joinery of frame makers through to all kinds of fabric cutting and sewing expertise and , of course , an unrivalled understanding of upholstery . You will find that Duresta's furniture making combines these skills with the best materials available to produce long lasting sumptuously comfortable upholstery. Frames are made from selected hardwoods , each dowelled , glued and screwed for trouble free long life . The standard specification for most models includes coil sprung seating for durability and comfort .

    The Lansdowne embodies everything learnt over time about the proper way to make seating -

    Built around a solid frame 

    The seat has tempered steel coil springs to support a feather cushion and the backrest uses steel tension springs and a cushion of feather which provides restful support for the head and neck and is very comfortable for the lower back . 

    Vast range of fabrics to choose from.

    All cushions are reversible .

    Antique , Mahogany , Ebony, Macassar and Umber wood finishes are available as a no cost option.

    Castors available in Brass , Nickel and antique brass

     scatter cushions & armcaps are all available at extra cost.
